INFORMS Conference on Business Analytics

The INFORMS Conference on Business Analytics and Operations Research will be held April 10-12 in Chicago at the Marriott Downtown, located in the heart of Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

Highlights include a series of sessions on supply chain management, the analytics process and public sector analytics. The supply chain management track will emphasize integration from strategy to execution, with talks on procurement transformation, total supply chain visibility, integrated transportation and other key issues. Other tracks will focus on forecasting, decision analysis and soft skills. Chuck Holland, VP of Industrial Engineering at UPS, will headline the conference in a special keynote presentation.

Analytics magazine will sponsor Analytics Connect, a professional job event to be held in conjunction with the conference. The event is designed to provide analytics executives a venue to help feed their talent pipeline and attract top professionals to their organizations. At the job event, employers can provide their analytic recruitment materials in a casual setting and arrange discreet one-on-one interviews in private booths with the more than 500 analytics professionals expected to attend. Job seekers, whether casual or highly motivated, will be able to browse recruitment materials from top industry employers and decide whether to seek additional information and connections.
